Changelog
The main customer-facing additions and improvements in each published version.
v0.3.4
- Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement: organisations activated before the published agreements now also accept the current Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement once.
v0.3.3
- Voucher attachments: if the file security check is temporarily unavailable, the attachment is still saved and shows on the voucher as "Awaiting security check". It can be opened once the check has passed, so bookkeeping does not stop. If an attachment cannot be saved, "Attach receipt" shows the reason right under the file field.
- Switching organisation: each sign-in session stays in the organisation you chose in it, even when the same user is signed in in another browser. If the organisation changes while a page is open, saving is blocked and a notice explains why.
- Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement: links are now in the footer of every page, both in the app and on the website. The organisation's administrator accepts the Terms of Service and the Data Processing Agreement before using the service.
v0.3.2
- Attachments: saving voucher, receipt and other attachments works again. In the previous version the file check wrongly rejected clean files too.
v0.3.1
- Terms of service and data processing agreement: the service's own terms and data processing agreement are now drawn up with BMGR's own agreement tools, and the pages always show the version in force with its date. When you accept them during setup, the version you accepted is recorded. If the text changes while the page is open, nothing is accepted and you are asked to read the new version.
v0.3.0
- Sales invoices: a draft can be edited in the same form as a new invoice, and a saved invoice opens right away, with the option to save and start a new one. Sending opens a dialog with the customer's e-mail address, a ready message and the invoice PDF attached, and the sending is shown on the invoice. A payment can be recorded straight from the invoice, in full or in part. The invoice page shows the invoice's stage, its voucher, payments, credit notes, reminders, source quotation or order and CRM company, and a timeline of what has happened to it.
- Credit notes: you can credit only some of an invoice's lines or quantities, and the reason is printed on the credit note. Credit and re-issue creates the credit note and opens a corrected draft. Crediting an invoice that is already paid leaves a credit balance for the customer, which can be used against the customer's next invoice or refunded. A credit note and the original invoice refer to each other, a credit note is never sent reminders, its PDF and e-invoice follow the credit note rules, and its voucher is numbered in the sales series.
- Invoice lists: the sales and purchase invoice lists show the due date (for example due in 3 days or 2 days overdue), a totals row and status tiles that filter the list. Selected sales invoices can be posted, downloaded as PDFs or sent reminders at once, and selected purchase invoices approved, marked paid or added to a payment proposal. The Invoices menu opens the tab you used last.
- Invoicing settings: Invoices has its own settings page with the collection settings, a default payment term, per-customer payment terms, a supplier payment term and the first invoice number, so a company moving to BMGR can continue its own numbering. When the first invoice is missing a logo, an address or a bank account, a dialog asks for exactly those and shows a PDF preview of the invoice. The invoice PDF prints the company logo and amounts in the company's number format. The customer and supplier fields find existing entries and can create a new one in a small dialog.
- Purchase invoices: a draft created from e-mail is marked unverified until an approver has checked the fields that were read, and it cannot be approved before that. The receipt can be attached already when you create a new purchase invoice or a new voucher, and on a wide screen the receipt is shown next to the invoice fields. Approval rules pick the supplier by name, and approvers get a notification when a purchase invoice, expense claim, quotation or leave request is routed to them and when it has been decided.
- Expense claims, booking and VAT: before approval a claim shows how it will be booked and which VAT return fields it affects, and a checklist names what still blocks approval, such as a missing receipt or an invalid IBAN. Each line can have its own VAT deduction (full, partial or none) and the merchant's country and VAT number. A foreign service purchase under reverse charge is booked the same way as on a purchase invoice, the payable created from a claim matches the claim total to the cent, and a foreign-currency claim is booked at the euro amount actually charged to the card. A claim that is already paid can be booked directly as a bank payment.
- Expense claims, handling: the list shows the amount at each stage (draft, awaiting approval, awaiting reimbursement), and the stages, status and claimant work as filters. Claims can be submitted and approved several at a time, the payee is picked from the person register, and a possible duplicate needs a reason. The payment status shows when a payment is blocked, for example by a missing IBAN, and a claim links to its voucher, payment batch and payment. Editing keeps confirmed accounts, the account suggestion follows the merchant, and the payable of a deleted claim is voided, so open payables match the payables account balance.
- Payments: a default paying bank account is chosen in Accounting settings, and a payment batch shows and keeps its own paying account; every batch has its own page. Changes to a payee's IBAN are kept in a masked history, and the administrator can require a second person to approve such a change.
- Bank reconciliation: reconciliation is now under Transactions, and the overview shows how many lines are waiting. Suggested matches you can rely on can be accepted all at once after a confirmation that lists every line, and the page has search, amount and date filters and paging. The difference of a short payment can be booked to an account you choose, such as bank charges, which closes the invoice, and the payment of a foreign-currency invoice books the realised exchange difference.
- Income statement and balance sheet: you can pick the period (month, quarter, year or your own range) with a comparison, and the page warns when the period still has drafts or unreconciled lines. The income statement can also use the function-based layout, and the iXBRL file now also carries impairments and the personnel, auditor and approval details. Open foreign-currency receivables and payables can be valued at the ECB rate of the balance sheet date with one voucher that reverses at the start of the next period.
- Period locks: periods are locked and unlocked in one place, and every lock and unlock asks for a confirmation that says what becomes read-only. Sending and posting a sales invoice and approving and posting a purchase invoice also ask for a confirmation. A reversal voucher numbered without a series can be moved into the right series on the voucher page, so it no longer blocks locking the fiscal year.
- Group financial statements: a parent company can record its group companies, get a suggestion on whether consolidated financial statements are required, record eliminations as decisions and print the group income statement and balance sheet with comparatives. Currency translation for wholly owned foreign subsidiaries, a group cash flow statement and associates are now included. Minority interests and some special cases are still not supported, and the page tells you when one of them blocks the group financial statements.
- VAT returns: VAT returns are shown as a list with one row per period, the due date, a prepared, filed and paid track and any pending items, and the next return is shown on the accounting overview. The VAT page compares the VAT filed with the Tax Administration with the figure from your books.
- Vero connection: every company in the organisation has its own connection on the settings page, the connection shows whether the authorisation is active, expired or revoked, and individual services can be switched off. Separate rights decide who may prepare, send and manage Vero filings. Tax account transactions are offered as matches to bank lines for you to confirm, and when the Tax Administration's prepayment estimate differs clearly from your current prepayment (by default 500 euros or 10 %), you get a task to check it. The prepayment application takes the optional deduction details, Vero data is shown with its official wording, and lines of business follow the TOL 2025 classification.
- Income tax return: the 6B worksheet can be downloaded as a file for the Ilmoitin.fi service, built to the Tax Administration's official record description. The page's help texts moved behind info buttons next to the headings, and warnings stay visible on the page. Client register deadlines now also have rules for general and limited partnerships, associations and foundations, and a subcontractor sees the deadlines of their own clients.
- Payroll and HR: a paid payslip can be downloaded as an Incomes Register earnings payment report file, which you submit yourself in the Incomes Register's service. HR has an accident register. Leave requests can be routed to approvers by rules, the workforce list has search and a department filter, and a hired applicant can be made an employee with the details prefilled.
- Customers (CRM): activities such as calls and meetings can be logged by hand, possible duplicates are shown and can be merged, territories and assignment rules give clients to owners, and commissions are calculated by your own rules and paid after approval as salary or as a settlement. An error message names the field to correct.
- Quotations and orders: a quotation can require approval before it is sent, an order can be delivered and invoiced in parts, and the sales list has work queues (to send, awaiting customer, to confirm, to deliver and to invoice). Each order line shows the delivered, invoiced and remaining quantity. A deal has a New quotation button and shows its quotations, orders and invoices, and accepting a quotation offers to mark the deal won. A follow-up can be scheduled straight from a record, and a deal can be created right in a pipeline column.
- Website forms and chat: CRM offers lead forms and a live chat that you can embed on your own website. A contact from a form is saved in CRM as a lead, and chats are answered in customer service.
- Web shop: a company can publish its products in its own web shop with a cart and orders paid by invoice. The shop shows the seller's details, delivery options and withdrawal information, the customer chooses consumer or business, and a consumer pays the order in advance before delivery. A consumer can withdraw from a purchase with the shop's withdrawal function, which also offers the model withdrawal form, and gets an acknowledgement. Shop orders reserve stock as soon as they arrive.
- Products and stock: one product and service register with prices, VAT codes, income accounts and optional stock items is shared by invoices, quotations, the till and the web shop, and can be searched by name, code or barcode. A stock item has its own page with the on-hand, reserved and available quantities and its history, and the stock movements list has search and filters. A new till sells with a barcode scanner and cash and books a summary voucher of the day's sales.
- Sustainability reporting (VSME): the Comprehensive Module (C1-C9) and the report texts follow Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/1560. The report can be downloaded as an XBRL file in EFRAG's digital format; until EFRAG publishes a taxonomy for the new regulation, the file uses the 2025/1710 taxonomy and says so. The B9 accident figures are suggested from the HR accident register.
- NIS2 and CER: incidents are handled in a workflow that follows the reporting deadlines and puts together the report for the authority, a guided scope assessment helps you find out whether the rules apply to you, and management approvals, reviews and training are kept as versioned evidence.
- Risk management and governance: organisation units can be added, renamed and removed in Governance outside the setup wizard. Older projects use the organisation's impact criteria until they get their own, and a user whose access is limited to their own risks or unit can edit only those, also in treatment plans, assessments and indicators.
- Documents, contracts and Academy: a shared document store gathers the files of every module and the wiki pages, with search and versions. You can import your own contract template, for example one you have downloaded yourself from your industry association, and create contracts from it. An Academy course is created step by step, and a course can be assigned to an organisation unit.
- Integrations and accounting e-mail: webhooks send invoice, customer, CRM, accounting, expense claim and employee events to your own systems, signed, with retries and a delivery log, and are set up in the API settings. The API has an OpenAPI description. You can retire the old accounting e-mail address and create a new one, after which mail to the old address is no longer delivered, and you decide whether the address made of your business ID accepts mail only from allowed senders (on by default).
- Languages: the Swedish texts were reviewed screen by screen in sales and invoicing, documents and messages sent to customers, HR, risk management, governance, privacy and settings, and accounting uses one Swedish term for a voucher (verifikation) everywhere. The Swedish opening balance example file imports as it is.
- Usability: the For me queue gathers what is waiting for you, with its count in the top bar and a link in the sidebar. The command palette has actions such as new sales invoice, new voucher, add receipt, new deal and request leave, recently opened records and keyboard shortcuts, and search finds invoices, vouchers and expense claims by number, party or amount. You can pin favourites in the sidebar and hide modules you do not use, a bottom bar on the phone takes you to Home, For me, Add receipt and Search, and one search filters every settings page.
- Everyday use: record pages have breadcrumbs and previous and next buttons that keep the list's filter, keyboard users get a skip to content link, saving no longer scrolls the page to the top, and dialogs follow the dark theme. A form opened in one organisation is not saved into another one after a switch; the page tells you about the switch instead. Permissions are first set per module as no access, view or manage, with the detailed permissions under Advanced. Organisation settings are split into subpages.
- Getting started: a company that uses only invoicing or accounting gets a shorter setup wizard that asks what the first invoice needs, including the seller's address, and the risk management steps are optional tasks on Home. The preparedness step asks for either a security of supply sector or an industry class, prefilled from the Tax Administration's data when available.
- Charts of accounts: a chart for each company form (limited company, partnership, sole trader, cooperative, association, housing company) in a broad and a compact version, suggested by the company form, with sensible accounts active by default; you can also import your own chart of accounts from CSV or Excel with a preview.
- Sustainability reporting (VSME): you choose whether commuting accidents count in the B9 accident figure.
- Inbox: an open inbox tab refreshes read status when you return to it.
- App: the installed web app updates itself after a new release.
v0.2.40
- Bank statements: Holvi CSV and PDF statements now import correctly, and the import preview classifies rows the same way as the import itself.
- Purchase invoices: an invoice can be split across several expense accounts, the payment method (invoice or already paid by card) and the cardholder are saved on the invoice, and the supplier's business ID, VAT number and IBAN are checked before saving. Card-paid receipts are booked to the account you choose yourself in Accounting settings.
- Sales invoices: a sent invoice is corrected with a credit note, which is created after a confirmation and requires accounting approval rights. A sent invoice can no longer be deleted.
- VAT: tax codes for service purchases from the EU and from outside the EU were added, reverse charge and intra-EU acquisition rows show the tax amount, and a VAT check row that does not affect the return can be marked as reviewed with a reason.
- Closing the year: the close list compares the purchase and sales ledgers with the general ledger in euros, a documented difference can be acknowledged, and duplicate or unnumbered vouchers are shown before locking. The financial statements say whether an auditor is needed and point out a limited company's negative equity.
- Profit distribution: distributable funds are calculated from the latest ended and locked fiscal year, and the board's solvency assessment is stored with the proposal.
- Accounting basics: fiscal year dates can be edited, the standard chart of accounts is the default, income statement and balance sheet rows follow the chart, the opening balances page opens quickly even with a large chart, and the whole general ledger can be exported as PDF or CSV.
- Everyday use: users can be invited to the company, the chosen organisation stays selected, and a warning is shown before the session ends, after which an unfinished form is restored. The voucher email address is the company's business ID @bmgr.fi.
- Financial statements: a small or micro limited company's financial statements can be downloaded as an iXBRL file following PRH's SBR taxonomy. The file is checked before download, any gaps are listed on the financial statements page, and you file the downloaded file with PRH yourself.
- Accounting: the association income statement follows the Accounting Ordinance formula (a Result for the period line, fundraising costs as one line unless you split them). Business IDs, VAT numbers and IBANs are checked on every form, and Settings > Data export lists earlier saved values that fail the check. The new-account form shows which field to correct and keeps what you typed. Tables fit a phone screen, and namespaced CAMT bank statements show the payment counterparty correctly.
- Vero connection: a sent VAT return, EC sales list, prepayment application, profit-distribution notice, registration change or information-request response stays on record with its receipt, and a new draft is linked to the earlier submission. A corrected VAT return is sent as a replacement return with its reason. In an organisation with several companies, every company's Vero data is updated, and a submission left unconfirmed for over 15 minutes can be marked unconfirmed and checked in OmaVero.
- Client register (CRM): companies and contacts can now be imported from a CSV or Excel file with a guided import that maps columns to fields, previews every row and detects duplicates by business ID. Customers can also be created and updated through the API. The import can set each client's owner, and an imported client's deadline tasks are created right away.
- Customer register (CRM): new field types (yes/no, multiple choice, money, link, user and contact), a field can be required only in certain statuses, and sensitive fields are shown only to users allowed to see them. Lists have choosable columns, filters, sorting, saved views and export of the view to Excel or CSV; the subcontractor is shown on the company card and in the list.
- Customers (CRM): a client company can have an accounting profile (VAT period, company form and fiscal year), from which the VAT return, financial statements and tax return deadlines are created automatically as tasks for the client's owner. The new Deadlines view gathers upcoming and overdue deadlines. A task can repeat, have a checklist, and be created from a template, also automatically when a client's status changes. The dates are guidance, so check them in MyTax.
- Customers (CRM): a task's owner gets a reminder by email and in the app before the due date (3 and 1 days before by default, adjustable in settings) and when the task is overdue, plus a Monday-morning digest of this and next week's tasks. A reminder rule on a company date field, such as the contract end date, creates a task or sends an email.
- Languages and notifications: accounting search shows and finds accounts by the translations saved in the chart of accounts, the sector headings in the collective agreement picker follow the chosen language, and the municipal and wellbeing sector agreements have their official Swedish names. The notice about billing details updated in the customer portal now follows each user's own Invoices & Expenses notification settings. In the demo organisation, forms that pick a user or a unit save again.
- E-mail: a quotation can be sent to the customer and a purchase order to the supplier by e-mail straight from the document, with the PDF attached. New users you invite get an invitation e-mail with a link to set their password, and scheduled reports can also be e-mailed to chosen colleagues.
- Smaller improvements: Accounting settings list the recent senders whose messages the accounting email address did not accept, and a sender can be allowed with one click. A project can name its client from the CRM, and the Customer 360 view shows the client's projects. Suppliers in Business Continuity can record the contract's security terms, the latest security test, subcontractors and review dates. Academy has a team status view of course assignments and overdue training. Official travel alerts now include Global Affairs Canada advisories next to those of the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
- Setup and forms: the Setup Wizard shows the Business ID, VAT registration and bank account already saved in Accounting and changes only what you edit in it, and every save shows its confirmation even when the same form is saved again. In Business Continuity, an activity's owner is picked from the organisation's users, and the editors close after a successful save.
v0.2.39
- Purchase invoices: if a purchase invoice's booking voucher had been deleted, the invoice still stayed an open payable and appeared in the payment proposal. The booking voucher can no longer be deleted or reversed on its own; instead the purchase invoice is cancelled from the invoice, which reverses the booking and closes the open payable in one step. Earlier cases can be fixed from the check on the Payments and Incoming invoices pages.
- Receipts and invoices received by email: the supplier is now read from the document itself, not from the sender's email address. If the supplier cannot be determined reliably, the field is left empty for the approver to fill in, and the sender is shown separately. Suppliers of invoices saved earlier can be read again from their documents.
- Customer service: when several emails arrived at the same time, one of them could fail to be saved as a ticket. Every message now gets its own ticket and number, and a redelivered copy of the same message is matched to the one already saved.
- The income tax return due date now moves to the next weekday not only over weekends but also over public holidays, Independence Day, May Day, and Christmas and Midsummer Eve. For example, the return for the 2027 financial period is due by 2 May 2028.
- The Vero connection card now also shows the technical details of an error: the HTTP status, the Finnish Tax Administration's error code and the correlation ID when available. They make it easier to resolve a fault with the Tax Administration's support.
- Personal data breaches: the 72-hour notification deadline is now reminded in the notification bell and by email to the people responsible for privacy and to the person who recorded the breach.
- API and MCP: Settings > API shows a ready-to-copy configuration for an MCP-compatible client, and the user guide has a new chapter on using the API and MCP. The voucher list no longer includes attachment files; an attachment is fetched with the single-voucher request, and an unknown account is reported with a clear error.
- The user guide has been updated to match the current features in Finnish, English and Swedish, and it now includes screenshots of the views it describes.
- When the beta ends, a new module starts with a 14-day free trial, and the card is not charged before the trial ends. The trial applies to modules the organisation has not used before.
- Events: a published event's public registration link is shown in the event list and can be copied. Risk management's tabs now include Settings for users who can change the settings.
- A sales invoice PDF is now always produced in the organisation's primary language, whoever opens it. The stored texts of an assessment escalated to a risk and of a PRH check are written in a language the organisation uses. Swedish texts have been corrected.
v0.2.38
- Fixed: in one authorisation model, fetching data over the Vero connection stopped before the request was sent, and the error did not show on the Vero connection card. The fetch now works, and if it fails for any reason, the reason and time show on the card.
v0.2.37
- The VAT rate now follows the date of supply. Vouchers, sales and purchase invoices, expense claims and bank bookings only offer the rates in force on that date (e.g. 14 % in 2025 and 13.5 % from 2026; EU acquisitions and reverse charge at 24 % before 1 September 2024). On a sales invoice the rate follows the delivery date when one is given. A line whose rate was not in force blocks saving with an explanation; the rate is never changed silently. The VAT report lists lines whose rate does not match their date for review.
- Leaving a page while a save is still in progress now asks for confirmation, so the save is not cut off. After a voucher is saved, deleted or reversed, every accounting report shows the new figures.
- The whistleblowing channel and the data subject request portal now show whether they are live and link straight to the setting that activates them. The address and copy button appear only once the portal works, and the public address no longer contains the organisation's name. The whistleblowing channel tracks the statutory deadlines (acknowledgement within 7 days, feedback within 3 months).
- Personal data breaches: the time of discovery is recorded with the clock time, the 72-hour deadline and any delay are shown, and notification defaults to "required" unless a written risk assessment says otherwise. Data subject requests: receipt date, extension and response date are recorded, the deadline counts from receipt, and overdue requests show on the list and the home page.
- Risk management: the target risk level is shown on the risk page and as an optional register column, the risk-score formula is labelled as BMGR's choice (ISO 31000 defines no formula), and changing the formula also updates travel and DPIA risks and appears in exports. Treatment plans use the seven ISO 31000 options. KRI thresholds are checked against their direction, and the colour limits are spelled out.
- Forms now check that an end date is not before its start date (projects, contracts, HR, trips and more). Contract templates accept amounts only within sensible bounds and print dates in the language's format (e.g. 1 October 2026). The KYC case PRH/YTJ lookup shows its result or the error, and the module description matches what it does.
- Text and date fixes throughout: punctuation, source references (e.g. the EU Court of Justice, the balancing test, standard clauses), dates in the local format, the privacy notice language defaults to the interface language, NIS2 appears in the navigation, and environmental-claim checks cite Directive (EU) 2024/825. Email notifications are sent in the recipient's language.
v0.2.36
- Fixed: the Vero API connection card in accounting settings now reflects the real state. 'Active' requires an actual successful fetch; if the connection is enabled but nothing has come through yet, the status reads 'Active, no successful fetch yet' with a neutral colour. When a Vero API call fails at the certificate or TLS level, the status now flips to 'Error' and the exact error message and time are shown. Previously the connection could look green while no data had ever been retrieved.
- Fixed: legacy unread Digipost rows that were left behind before the previous release's cascade fix are now automatically marked as handled. Rows whose source voucher no longer exists no longer clutter the Digipost queue.
v0.2.35
- Fixed: deleting a voucher now cleans up the Digipost row that the voucher produced. Previously the inbox row stayed as an unread task pointing at a voucher that no longer existed.
v0.2.34
- Fixed: changing the account on a saved voucher line no longer overwrites an intentionally-empty VAT code with the new account's default. Previously a re-tiliöinti could silently add a VAT code and shift the VAT report (e.g. foreign service purchases where the VAT code is deliberately empty pending a corrected invoice). Saved rows now keep the bookkeeper's VAT choice; new rows still pick up the account default.
- Improved: the Vero API connection error message in accounting settings now names the certificate instead of the mandate when the authorisation model is own_signatory or the platform operator's own tenant (both of which cannot hold a Suomi.fi mandate). Previously it told users to check the mandate, which was misleading in those modes.
v0.2.33
- Fixed: the VAT calculation page no longer demands a Suomi.fi mandate when the Vero authorization model is set to the company's own signatory or the platform operator's own company. In these models a mandate cannot be and does not need to be granted; taking the Vero connection into use is enough.
- Fixed: the Vero authorization-model choice now reaches the reader path too. It appeared correct on the settings page, but the Vero notices kept reading the old default and asking for a Suomi.fi mandate anyway.
- Improved: the "Convert to standard chart" button now appears whenever any of the old BMGR compact chart account numbers is still present, not only when account 1700 is in use. Some older companies never saw the button at all before.
- New: the accounting settings now offer a one-click switch to turn Vero API off entirely. It is meant for customers who file taxes themselves in OmaVero or through their own accountant. With Vero API off the Suomi.fi authorization banners stop showing across Accounting, VAT-draft preparation is no longer blocked by a missing mandate, and re-enabling it later is one click. The connection is kept, nothing is lost.
- Fixed: the delete button on a posted expense claim now becomes "Cancel & reverse". Delete used to hide the claim from the list while leaving its journal vouchers in place, so the P&L and balance could quietly drift. The new action posts a reversal voucher and closes the AP reskontra row in the same transaction (KPL 2:7 §), keeping the audit trail whole. Draft and submitted claims still delete as before.
- Improved: the "N numbering deviations" notice has been removed from the voucher views. A deleted voucher's number is never reused, and the delete audit row now carries the voucher number, series, date and sum, so any gap is always traceable in the log. Period-close is no longer blocked by numbering gaps alone. Real errors (a duplicate number, an unnumbered posted voucher) still block close as before.
- Fixed: attaching a receipt to a voucher now shows the file immediately after saving, no page reload required. If the same receipt (same filename and size) is attached again to the same voucher, the system warns about the duplicate up front and never stores it silently.
- The public landing page now groups the module picker and pricing table into clear sections: Finance and assets (Accounting first; Invoices+Expenses and Payroll sit under Accounting as included), Customers and growth, Work and people, Risk and compliance, and Extras and add-ons. Modules without their own showcase page no longer get a dead "View features" link.
- New: the landing page now explicitly names the coming home-page AI chat. It is strictly opt-in; a tenant administrator turns it on for that tenant, and it stays off otherwise. AI chat stays configured so that all data processing happens only in the EU/EEA and only with the tenant's own permissions.
v0.2.32
- New: larger customers can request a quote or an invoice-billing subscription directly from the public landing page. Company details, contract reference and billing cycle land with the operator for review.
- Improved: when a search returns no risks or CRM records, the empty-state primary action now clears the filters instead of pushing you to create a new record.
- Improved: the payroll, CRM and risk-management screens work more cleanly on narrow displays and surface related detail through info tooltips.
- New: a fiscal year can now be captured with explicit start and end dates. A new company's first period can run up to 18 months (KPL 1:4 §), and a voucher's date binds it to that period.
- New: the voucher inbox address is now <business id>@bmgr.fi by default. The allowed-senders list is pre-populated with the tenant's own users and linked accountants, and the list is required. Rejected messages appear in the audit log.
- New: the Vero API authorization model can now be chosen: a Suomi.fi mandate (the accounting-firm default), the company's own registered signatory, or the platform operator's own company. The Suomi.fi mandate request only appears when the model is set to Suomi.fi mandate.
- Fixed: the accounting-settings company address fields (street, postal code, city, email) now persist across reloads instead of disappearing when the form returns.
- New: the platform administrator can issue a one-time code bound to a specific tenant user (previously the OTP was tenant-wide). A newly added tenant user can therefore be onboarded without having to be the first SUPER_ADMIN.
- Improved: the Accounting, Invoices, Expenses and account pages are reachable even while the organisation's setup wizard is still open. The bookkeeper no longer has to wait for the owner to click through it.
- New: the customer-service inbox can be opened with a scoped bmgr.fi alias or with an address on the tenant's own domain. The custom-domain address is verified via a DNS TXT record, and the portal can designate a dedicated fallback user for unassigned tickets.
- Changed: an ERM role no longer implicitly grants access to other modules. The RISK_MANAGER role covers Risk management only; Accounting, CRM, HR, ERP and Whistleblowing are opened per user with explicit permission checkboxes.
v0.2.31
- New: an organisation can enable a customer portal where customers sign in with a one-time email code, review their details, update billing information, and download their invoices and contracts.
- Improved: the subcontractor workspace shows only assigned customers and billing requests, and a processed billing request cannot be approved again.
v0.2.30
- Fixed: editing your own contract template now saves properly. The template's structure used to be lost on save, so an own template could never be published or chosen for a contract.
- Fixed: the balance sheet's comparative column shows each row's own previous-year figure. Rows could previously slide onto the wrong lines, leaving cash and the assets total showing zero. The balance indicator now reads every column on the page.
- Fixed: the VAT return's source-row check no longer flags the automatic VAT entry's own line or an accrual release, and the notices no longer prevent preparing the VAT return draft. They are still listed for review.
- New: service purchases from another EU country (AVL 65 §) and from outside the EU (AVL 9 §) have their own VAT codes and are reported on their own rows of the VAT return. They previously had to be booked using the construction reverse charge.
- Improved: the reverse charge and EU acquisition rows now also show the VAT amount, and those rows are included in the summary you copy into OmaVero.
- Improved: payments reconciled earlier now find the invoice they settle as their supporting document, so evidence is no longer reported as missing without reason. A bank statement is accepted as an attachment in CSV form too, which is how many banks hand it out.
- Improved: vouchers created by reconciliation go into the bank voucher series alongside the other series, and the numbering check lists the same vouchers it counts.
- Fixed: the balance specification names the same line the balance sheet prints, for example trade receivables rather than the group. Lists also refresh right after a save, without reloading the page.
v0.2.29
- New: contract templates are now your own, with versions, and a contract is generated from them as a PDF that keeps its identity even when it is rendered again. The signature is attached to that PDF, not to the text alone.
- Improved: a voucher's supporting document can now be the invoice or bank statement the payment settles, so a reconciled payment no longer asks for a receipt that already exists elsewhere.
- Improved: bank reconciliation suggests the open invoice before an income or expense account, resolves a supplier payment's payable account from the invoice itself, and shows what a rule would post before you apply it.
- Fixed: accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities and advances received now appear on their own statutory balance sheet rows instead of a general line, and the tax helper's turnover no longer includes financial or other operating income.
- Fixed: copying a voucher keeps its series, so a copy no longer starts a second numbering sequence alongside the existing one. The voucher review points out a financial year that has ended up with both.
- Fixed: reading an invoice no longer fills the supplier field with the invoice's own heading text, and the report view keeps the financial year you selected.
v0.2.28
- Fixed: chart of accounts entries now map to the correct financial statement lines per standard chart, including five-digit sub-accounts. The financial statements, period close and chart of accounts pages flag it when rows need updating.
- Improved: bank transaction reconciliation suggestions now stay within the same open fiscal year, and an open invoice is suggested before an income or expense account.
- New: sign in using your device's own authentication (fingerprint, face or device PIN) instead of a password. Add a passkey from your account settings.
- Fixed: a newly created API key is now shown once at creation so it can be copied.
- New: a purchase invoice can now record the supplier's country and VAT identifier, and the app flags it if the chosen VAT code and the supplier's country conflict.
- Fixed: the automatic VAT entry is now created even when the chart of accounts was missing its VAT accounts, and the voucher form shows the VAT amount before saving.
- New: an unfinished voucher is offered back if the page is closed by accident.
- Fixed: the active organisation is now shown on every page and stays selected.
v0.2.27
- Fixed: bank statement CSV import now recognises alternate date and counterparty column headers, so a valid statement is no longer rejected.
- Fixed: the accounting archive package no longer loses receipts when several attachments share the same date and voucher number; every receipt is now named uniquely and verified before download.
- Improved: financial statement line mapping was corrected for several account ranges, and a one-click action re-applies the standard mapping to existing accounts.
- Fixed: an incoming purchase invoice allocated across multiple lines is now booked correctly for every line, not only the first.
- Improved: a bank transaction can be reconciled to any active account, and a transfer between two bank accounts clears both sides with one booking.
- New: a bank transaction can be split across several accounts with their own VAT codes, and opened directly in a prefilled voucher form.
- Improved: statement import also recognises Swedish column headers and warns about unknown columns before importing.
- Fixed: a bank account's posting account is shown correctly after saving, and the period-close checklist flags a negative bank balance.
- New: the association income statement formula (Accounting Decree chapter 1 section 3) can be chosen in the accounting settings and is the default for associations. The statement now breaks costs down into personnel expenses, depreciation and other expenses for both ordinary activities and fundraising.
- Fixed: the chart of accounts now shows each account's status as its own badge, an account can be added with only a Finnish name, and the "only active" filter is kept in the page address.
- Fixed: the voucher form's account picker accepts a typed account with Enter or when moving to the next field, closes the list, and names the rows still missing an account.
- Fixed: the chart of accounts no longer gets VAT defaults when the entity is not VAT-registered; the defaults are added when registration starts and removed when it ends.
- Fixed: a receipt added as an image is stored with the right file extension, and the voucher form and chart fields have names a screen reader can read.
v0.2.26
- Improved: a numbering-gap row now offers both resolutions side by side - create the missing voucher or record an audited explanation.
v0.2.25
- New: accounting period close can now record an audited explanation for genuine source voucher-number gaps. The gap remains visible, no fake voucher is created, and closing is allowed only after an explicit accountant confirmation.
v0.2.24
- Fixed: platform database backup streaming serialises table data incrementally, eliminating memory string limits during post-deploy backups.
v0.2.23
- Fixed: tenant selection after multi-factor authentication now proceeds directly to the organization home without looping back to the session conflict dialog.
- Fixed: financial statement reports accurately apply the user-specified cut-off date across all balance queries, closing checklists, and print views.
- Fixed: accounting archive ZIP downloads in Microsoft Edge are hardened with standard download headers and direct stream handling to prevent browser blockades.
- Improved: accounting voucher worklist highlights numbering sequence gaps per series and aligns numbering status counters, readiness cards, and worklist filters.
- Improved: accounting-file import preview transparently presents source confirmation and fiscal year lock transfers while preserving manual verification checklists.
v0.2.22
- Improved: accounting-file import now has a technical preview before saving. It shows fiscal years, locks, voucher series, drafts, attachments, conflicts and the effect of a full replacement, and the confirmed import is applied atomically.
- Fixed: Accounting files accepts supported files both directly and inside ZIP archives, reports each rejected archive member separately, and the fiscal-year archive package is now built in the background with a manifest and file digests.
- Fixed: a purchase invoice and its accounting voucher now appear as one business transaction with links to the invoice, voucher, payment and evidence instead of being counted twice.
v0.2.21
- New: notes to the financial statements. A guided walk-through asks, item by item, which notes required by the small and micro undertakings decree (1753/2015) concern your company, offers standard wording where the law's usual text is standard, and lets you write each note yourself. The statements page shows what is still missing, and the written notes are printed in the financial statements PDF and print view.
v0.2.20
- Improved: the financial statements PDF opens with a clean cover page: company name and business ID centred, the company logo when one is set, the statement title and period, nothing else.
v0.2.19
- Improved: the financial statements (income statement and balance sheet) now follow the statutory Finnish formulas of the Accounting Decree and the small and micro undertakings decree: standard item names and order, running subtotals (operating profit, profit before appropriations and taxes, profit for the period), non-current and current assets, equity with retained earnings, and the previous fiscal year as a comparative column. Nil items are omitted. The page, the print view and the PDF all use the same layout.
- New: interim financial statements. Pick a date inside the fiscal year on the Financial statements page and the income statement covers the fiscal year up to that day with the balance sheet as at that day, marked as unaudited interim statements, for example for a bank.
- Improved: the chart of accounts picks the statement item from a list grouped by statement section instead of a free-text field, and an Update statement rows button maps an older chart onto the statutory items in one click.
v0.2.18
- Improved: importing an accounting or Tilitin file now runs in the background. The upload shows its own progress, the import reports how many vouchers are done, the 200 MB size limit is stated before you choose a file, and you can leave the page and come back to the result. Only one import runs at a time per company; a second upload is refused with a clear message instead of an error page.
- Improved: VAT rate pickers on invoices, purchase invoices and vouchers now offer only the rates in force on the document date (25.5 % from 1 Sep 2024, 13.5 % from 1 Jan 2026; 24 % and 14 % only for earlier dates). Every company always has the standard Finnish VAT codes, so a picker never consists of imported codes only.
- Improved: opening-balance import now previews before saving. You see the matched accounts, unknown account numbers, rows that could not be read and the debit/credit difference; an unbalanced set is saved only after you confirm it. The CSV template uses Finnish headers and can be downloaded from the page.
- Improved: the sales invoice form now shows the payment term (the due date follows it), the due date, the next invoice number, the payment reference and the penalty interest before you save.
- Fixed: CSV downloads from Accounting (journal, trial balance, financial statements, VAT, assets, inventory, chart of accounts and the archive) open in Finnish Excel in proper columns with real numbers: semicolon delimiter and comma decimal for Finnish and Swedish formatting, comma and dot otherwise.
- Improved: the risk framework dashboard now adds up. Risks without a residual assessment are shown as their own "Unrated" figure with a link to assess them, every summary box opens the register filtered to that level, the matrix states its scoring formula and bands, and the four levels use clearly distinct colours.
v0.2.17
- Fixed: importing an accounting file whose vouchers are numbered per series. The source system keeps a separate number sequence for each voucher series (purchase invoices, sales invoices, bank statements, journal entries and so on), so several vouchers share number 1 in one fiscal year. The import used to stop on the first such pair; vouchers now keep their series (shown as OL 12) and the whole file imports.
- Fixed: an accounting-file import is now all or nothing. If anything in the file cannot be saved, nothing from it is kept, the message names the voucher that blocked the import and links to it, and fiscal-year locks carried by the file are applied only after every voucher is in. Opening a locked period now updates the period's state fully, and the Period locks page has an explicit Open period button.
- Changed: VAT codes on import. Every company now has the standard Finnish VAT code set (including 13.5 % from 2026 and the earlier 24 %), and an accounting import maps its codes onto that set instead of creating its own copies with English names. Reversing an import deactivates leftover imported codes that no other voucher uses.
v0.2.16
- New: sales invoice PDF with the content the VAT Act requires. Every sales invoice now has a Download invoice (PDF) button: seller and buyer names and addresses, the seller's VAT identifier, invoice number and dates, payment terms and penalty interest, lines with net unit prices, the VAT summary per rate, totals, notes, and the payment block with IBAN, BIC, reference number and virtual barcode. The invoice page shows a checklist of the statutory content and tells you what is still missing and where to add it.
- New: company address and contact details in Accounting settings, and the customer's address, delivery date and notes on the invoice form. The customer's address is remembered for the next invoice.
- Tidied: the empty Contracts page no longer repeats the list of template types, and the old address /invoices/outgoing/new now opens the new-invoice form instead of a 404 page.
v0.2.15
- Fixed: importing a corrected accounting file after reversing the earlier import. The re-import stopped with "Could not read the file" because the reversed vouchers still held their voucher numbers; the import now restores those vouchers with the corrected file's content and reports how many were restored. Import errors are also more specific: an unreadable file, a voucher-number conflict and a save failure each get their own message.
v0.2.14
- Fixed: large accounting-file imports. An accounting or Tilitin file over 32 MB failed with a generic error page before the import started; files up to 200 MB now import, and a long import is given the time it needs.
- Fixed: VAT registration from Vero. The daily registry check recognised only one spelling of the VAT role, so a company registered for VAT (for example on the annual filing period) could show as not VAT-registered. All VAT registration types are now recognised, the Vero settings page lists every registration returned with its dates, and an administrator can fetch the registry data again immediately with a new button.
- Fixed: a notification about the Vero authorisation could make a page fail to load; notifications now always fall back to their stored text.
v0.2.13
- New: reverse an accounting-file import. If an accounting or Tilitin import needs to be replaced with a corrected file, Accounting > Settings > Import/export now shows what the import created (vouchers, entries, attachments, reconstructed invoices, open items) and removes all of it in one step, so the corrected file can be imported into an empty ledger. Hand-entered vouchers, the chart of accounts, fiscal years, cost centres and partners are untouched; reconciled bank lines are released for matching again.
- Swedish interface: ninth review pass. Rentals, property register, projects, field service, appointments, contracts, recurring schedules, inventory, procurement, settings, reports, e-signatures, preparedness, controls, brand book, culture, risk appetite, AML and CSDDD now use consistent Swedish terms (for example hyresavtal, deposition, råbalans, kvarvarande risk) and the help texts match the on-screen labels.
v0.2.12
- New: VSME sustainability report in the Sustainability module. One report per year following the EU's voluntary standard for non-listed SMEs (EFRAG VSME Basic Module B1 to B11, Commission Recommendation (EU) 2025/1710), the format large customers and banks ask small companies for. Values already in Business Manager are suggested (organisation details, GHG totals from Carbon Accounting, headcounts from HR), the derived figures such as GHG intensity, accident rate and pay gap are calculated for you, and the published report prints as a document.
- Changed: the list price of the Customers (CRM) module is 19 EUR per month (was 12); the price for micro-enterprises stays at 9 EUR.
v0.2.11
- New: the EU AI Act module now has an obligation checklist for every registered AI system. The rows come from your role and the system's risk class, each with the article reference and the date it applies from. Mark each one done or not applicable, name an owner and note the evidence; the transparency register collects the Art 50 duties in one view.
- New: AI literacy evidence from Academy. Tick the published courses that count as your AI literacy training on the AI Act page, and the completions become the Art 4 evidence line for every system. A ready-to-edit Finnish starter course, AI literacy basics, is included.
- Updated: the AI Act timeline and guidance follow the adopted Digital Omnibus (Regulation (EU) 2026/1744): transparency duties apply since 2 August 2026, machine-readable marking has a grace period until 2 December 2026, and high-risk obligations start on 2 December 2027. The texts are now fully available in Swedish too.
- Changed: NIS2 readiness and CER readiness are now one add-on, Directives readiness, available with the Risk Management or Preparedness module.
- Improved: the Events module has its own intro and guide like every other module.
v0.2.10
- Improved: every page now shares the same layout. Page titles, back buttons and empty lists look and behave the same in every module, and explanatory text sits behind the info icon next to a title or field instead of cluttering the page.
- Improved: dates and amounts follow your organisation's chosen date and number format on every page, including invoices, expenses, payroll, bank accounts and the CRM pipeline.
- Improved: the Events page now has properly labelled fields and clear lists of upcoming events and registrations.
- Improved: counts such as "1 deal" and "3 deals" now read correctly in singular and plural in Finnish, English and Swedish.
- Improved: screen readers now announce every form field, status icon and back button by name.
- Fixed: fulfilling a stock reservation now ships from several storage locations when a single location does not hold the whole quantity.
- Removed: the unfinished "Accountant tools" section of the accountant portal, which could not yet do anything, has been taken out until it is built for real.
v0.2.9
v0.2.8
v0.2.7
v0.2.6
v0.2.5
- Improved: the Risk Management module (formerly labelled ERM) now uses consistent naming throughout the app.
- New: the payroll payment file now warns you in advance if an employee would be left out of the bank file, for example due to a missing bank account.
- Fixed: Secure Mail now warns you if your message is too large to send, not only when attachments are.
- Fixed: a contact who unsubscribes and later opts back in to your marketing emails now correctly starts receiving your campaign again.
- Fixed: the E-signature audit trail no longer logs a duplicate "viewed" entry every time a signer reopens or refreshes the signing page.
- Fixed: shared links for surveys, appointment booking, the support portal, event registration, the brand book and custom forms, plus the marketing-email unsubscribe link, now open correctly for recipients without an account.
v0.2.4
- Fixed: signing in after onboarding now loads the workspace reliably, and the application manifest remains available during a busy page refresh.
v0.2.3
v0.2.2
- Fixed: opening the demo link now always keeps you on the secure BMGR app address instead of sending you to a local development address.
v0.2.1
- Improved: bank statement import now handles more CAMT XML statement formats, including booking timestamps, and multi-currency statement previews stay responsive even with many foreign-currency transactions.
v0.2.0
- New: tenant admins can now create isolated test organisations to try out any module (even ones you haven't purchased) without touching your real data, and give colleagues access to them from the same organisation switcher they already use.
- New: if you sign in while already signed in somewhere else, you can now choose to end the other sign-in or keep both active, instead of it happening silently.
- New: creating an organisation on bmgr.fi no longer requires waiting for approval; your organisation is ready immediately.
- New: customer-service mailbox settings now include a one-click test that confirms your mailbox correctly turns an incoming email into a support ticket.
- New: accountants now get a single cross-client overview page summarizing the status of every client organisation they manage.
- New: the Payroll module can now be selected directly when creating your organisation.
- New: invoice lists (both incoming and outgoing) can now be filtered by status and by customer or supplier name.
- New: bookkeeping voucher entry got several usability upgrades; the cursor now jumps automatically between debit and credit based on the account type, the account picker is searchable, and each entry row can optionally carry its own counterparty and date.
- Improved: the setup wizard now hides fields that don't apply to associations, shows a live preview of the dark theme while choosing colours, defaults the primary language to the one you're currently using (with Swedish now selectable too), and explains the pre-authorization and risk-classification framework choices more clearly.
- Improved: the public website's module pages now consistently respect country availability, so a module is never advertised in a country where it isn't offered.
- Improved: accountant billing summary emails now use the same branded, translated layout as our other emails.
- Improved: on the bank connections page, a card-payment provider option no longer appears unless it's actually usable, and the Connect and Sync buttons on an existing connection now work correctly.
- Improved: bank statement import now correctly reads XML statements from more banks, and OCR-based PDF statement import handles multi-line layouts and euro-symbol amounts better.
- Improved: many pages across Accounting, HR, Forms, Surveys, Appointments, Field Service and other modules are now cleaner and less cluttered, with detailed guidance available on hover and optional fields tucked away until you need them.
- Fixed: voucher and receipt attachment previews now display correctly in every supported browser.
- Fixed: the accounting overview page now shows the correct date range for organisations with a non-calendar fiscal year.
- Fixed: the language shown on your account page now always matches your actual selected language.
v0.1.30
- New: a Forms module lets you build your own forms (applications, consent forms, intake forms), share them as a public link, and review every response; when E-signature is also enabled, you can send any response straight to the respondent for signature.
- New: the financial statements page now includes a step-by-step checklist for winding down a sole trader business, based on the Finnish Tax Administration's official guidance.
- Improved: expense and travel claims now book correctly with VAT, so your organisation reclaims deductible VAT on receipts the same way a supplier invoice does, and mileage always uses the Finnish Tax Administration's official rate for your vehicle and the trip's own date, with passenger, trailer and other surcharges applied automatically. A claim can also be filed on behalf of someone else.
v0.1.29
- New: BMGR.fi now has public Privacy, Contact and Account deletion pages. You can send a contact or account-deletion request without signing in, and the pages explain how BMGR protects data and handles statutory retention.
v0.1.28
- New: DPA generator and Terms of Service builder, so you can draft a GDPR Article 28 data processing agreement or your own terms of service directly in Business Manager and publish them at a shareable link.
- Inbox: you can now select several files at once when adding a new item; each file becomes its own inbox entry.
- Fixed: My Account's language selector could show the wrong language as selected even though the app was already displaying in your active language.
- Fixed: a publicly shared privacy notice link could show a not-found page instead of the notice.
v0.1.27
- Accounting now shows official Vero tax payment obligations directly on the dashboard, so upcoming and overdue tax payments are easy to find.
- New: prepare and submit the EU sales list (EC sales list) to Vero directly from Accounting, built from your EU sales invoices. Accounting reminds you when a month has EU sales that haven't been reported yet.
- New: respond directly to a Vero information request from BMGR, with an optional attachment, after reviewing and confirming the reply.
- New: report a profit-distribution (dividend) decision to Vero for a limited company directly from Accounting, after reviewing and confirming the details.
- Fixed a couple of small navigation issues: a dead link in the Vero workflows when the integration wasn't available, and the sidebar occasionally staying expanded after logging in instead of showing a clean menu.
v0.1.26
- Accounting now uses the VAT filing period confirmed by Vero. Quarterly and annual filers see calculations, drafts and exports for the whole reporting period.
- Payroll is now its own area in Accounting, with pay-run review and payroll vouchers, and it links to the HR module when that is in use.
- Vouchers: individual attachments can be removed with a confirmation, a back button returns you to the previous list, VAT coding appears only on VAT-applicable accounts, and on-page help was moved behind info icons for a cleaner view.
v0.1.25
- Accounting now raises a persistent notification when Vero balance data creates a payable tax draft, with a direct link from the notification or email to review it in Incoming invoices.
v0.1.24
- Accounting: incoming mail sent to the company's Business ID address can now turn a recognised supplier invoice into a reviewable payable-invoice draft, while receipt images remain available for review in Inbox.
v0.1.22
- Fixed the organisation switcher menu not responding when picking a different organisation. Signing in with Microsoft or Google via an organisation's own sign-in link now goes straight to that organisation.
v0.1.21
- Fixed an issue where signing in with Google or Microsoft could show a blank page instead of completing sign-in.
v0.1.20
- Accounting: voucher pages now have a separate Activity tab for comments and an accountant review flag, alongside the main voucher details. Manual vouchers also gained an optional vendor/customer field, shown in the transaction list.
v0.1.19
- Fixed a setup-wizard error page that could appear for some organisations, and removed an unnecessary CRM import step from the wizard (HubSpot import is still available from CRM settings).
- Signing up an additional organisation with an email you already use in Business Manager no longer asks you to set a new password; sign in as usual and switch between organisations from the top bar.
- Improved accessibility of survey response forms for screen readers.
v0.1.18
- Added public appointment booking: share a link where customers pick an open slot from your calendar and get a confirmation code to manage or cancel their own booking, no account needed.
- Added Surveys: general-purpose questionnaires you can send to your own staff in-app or share as a public link, with single/multiple choice, free text, rating and NPS questions and live results as answers come in.
- Accounting: attaching a receipt to a bank transaction now saves as soon as you pick the file, shows a real preview instead of only a download link, and can be removed and replaced. The Payments and cash page moved from a button on the Transactions page into its own menu item.
v0.1.17
- HR: added a Fleet register for company vehicles, with assigned driver, insurance and inspection due dates, and running cost tracking.
- HR: added Recruitment, covering job postings, an applicant pipeline with stages, and interview scheduling.
- HR: added Appraisals, for scheduling performance review cycles with self- and manager assessments and a review history per employee.
- Customer Service: the public knowledge base articles can now be searched by the visitor instead of only browsed as a list.
- Invoices: added a Subscriptions view summarising recurring sales invoices, monthly recurring revenue, upcoming renewals and recently ended subscriptions.
- Added an internal Wiki, a staff-only knowledge base with folders, pages and search, separate from the customer-facing knowledge base.
- Added Field Service: dispatch a job to a technician with an on-site checklist, and log time and materials against the job.
v0.1.16
- User management got several small improvements: inviting an accountant now works the same way from Settings > Users as it already did from Accounting settings, the role field is now labeled ERM role and only shown when the ERM module is active (with a new "No ERM role" default), the language field defaults to your own selected language, travel risk roles show readable names instead of codes, and the "what this role can access" summary now covers every active module instead of only risk management.
- CRM's Subcontractor billing feature is now fully translated into Finnish and Swedish, and its billing-default settings moved from the feature's own page into CRM Settings, alongside the other CRM settings.
v0.1.15
- Fixed a bug where opening or previewing a receipt or attachment (in Accounting, Inbox, or an incoming invoice) sometimes showed an empty preview or did nothing when clicked.
- You can now delete a bank account or bank connection directly from the bank connections list.
- Added a fiscal-year filter to the Accounting transactions page, so past fiscal years' transactions stay easy to find.
- When marking a business VAT-liable manually, you're now also asked how often the VAT return is filed (monthly, quarterly, or annually).
- The Vero (Finnish Tax Administration) connection page and a few related messages were made clearer, and the industry classification code now stays in sync automatically once connected.
- Small navigation and layout polish: cleaner ordering, removed a couple of duplicate menu links, and fixed a visual glitch on the fixed-assets page.
v0.1.14
v0.1.13
- Bank accounts, statements, vouchers, and sales and purchase invoices can now be recorded in a foreign currency, while your accounting stays in euros as before. The original amount, currency, and exchange rate are always kept alongside the euro amount.
v0.1.12
- Sign-in now starts with your email address and then shows only the sign-in methods available to you. Users who belong to several organisations choose the organisation after they have signed in.
v0.1.11
- Organisations can now connect their Vero tax information with a Suomi.fi authorisation. Available tax letters, decisions and information requests are imported to Business Manager after the connection is activated.
v0.1.10
v0.1.9
- Saving your account settings no longer switches your notification preferences off. Notification categories now list only the modules your organisation actually uses.
- You can now choose which chart-of-accounts row each connected bank account posts to, so several bank accounts can use their own accounts instead of sharing one.
- Beta organisations no longer see a trial countdown while Business Manager is still in beta.
- New beta workspace approval emails now use a clear localized subject and onboarding link. Encrypted email storage tokens are never sent to recipients.
v0.1.8
v0.1.7
- Inbound accounting mail and customer-service mail now use tenant-specific addresses at bmgr.fi, with automatic routing and a reply when an address is not found.
- Email delivery and inbound-mail processing are now connected for production notifications and document intake.
v0.1.6
- Setup Wizard completion is now enforced: unfinished organisation setup opens first and completed setup no longer appears as a separate page.
v0.1.5
- Email sign-in and password-reset links now fail closed to the public BMGR app instead of ever using a stale localhost URL in production.
v0.1.4
- Accounting settings now keep the user on the settings page after saving and show the Finnish accounting mailbox for existing tenants with a valid Business ID.
- Release version and public changelog metadata are now checked as part of the production preflight.
v0.1.3
- Sign-in codes and magic login links now arrive within seconds instead of up to an hour.
- Fixed the BMGR logo occasionally rendering with a clipped or misaligned wordmark on some devices and browsers.
- The mobile header now shows the organisation's own logo instead of always falling back to the default one.
- Signing in from the Accounting app now stays in the Accounting app instead of redirecting to the main application.
v0.1.2
- Accountant portal now shows monthly voucher counts per client, and automatic background reporting sends monthly summaries plus daily correction emails when previously reported month totals change.
- Accounting settings now include tenant-managed MCP connector controls and idempotent draft-event imports from external payment and commerce platforms into the accounting review flow.
- Accounting now enforces legal-form account restrictions in account maintenance and voucher posting, and accounting subpage highlighting no longer falls back to overview on deep routes.
- Association-mode pricing is now available in billing and checkout with member-based labels, and accounting settings switch key company wording to association wording when legal form is association.
v0.1.1
- accounting import now updates each chart-of-accounts account active or passive state from the imported file without removing any historical postings.
- Accounting file handling was improved: uploaded accounting documents flow into OCR, and voucher draft creation from accounting mail now includes OCR-based prefill support.
v0.1.0
